My paternal great-grandmother was the sister of SARAH ANN ALLEN b. 11 March 1839, d. 5 January 1895 who married a WILLIAM HENRY GIBSON and WILEY A. ATKINSON. She was buried at Crossroads Baptist Church, Ruby, SC. Could she and this Wm. Henry possibly be parents of your Wm. Henry? Have you found anything more on this line of yours since you posted in Apr. 1999? Would be glad to share Allens if we're connected.
