Sale of the "Burch Land" in 1856 in Chesterfield, SC

The following article appears in The Pee Dee Herald on Nov 1, 1856
"Sale of Valuable Land - - I offer for sale a large tract of land containing between 1400-1500 acres situated on Thomson's Creek about three miles from Chesterfield Court House known as the "Burch Land". About 700 acres of this tract is well timbered and suitable for making turpentine and some 300 acres cleared, well adapted for planting. It will be sold on reasonable terms. Persons wishing to purchase will get a better description of the land by applying to Mr. Joseph H. Lide who is my agent for the sale of the same - - - Wm L. Campbell - - - Oct 28, 1856"
