Thanks so much for your kind response. Yes, your answer about the Fisher Branch makes sense when I compare with other geographical information that I have.

My family are the Polsons who lived (live) around Patrick, SC and an old land deed from the late 1800s mentions a "Poley Bridge Branch" so it may be located near Patrick.

If I get more information, I'll post on this site. Again, Leonard, thanks.
