Ernest,

<QUOTE> There is a unknown son born 1755 whom had a son, William Henry Johnson who was born in 1790 and married Rebbica Kissiah. They had a son, Henry Johnson born 1812. He married Louisa Purvis(b1822). Henry died in 1888,<UNQUOTE>

I believe this to be INCORRECT. I have researched the PURVIS' in this area for 30+ years. I have no record of a "LOUISA PURVIS".

The death Certificate for William Edwards Johnson, son of Henry & Louise shows his mother to be LOUISE PARR.
SC DEATH CERTIFICATE 3956-- JOHNSON, William E., Cole Hill, 3956, born January 22, 1850, in Chesterfield County, SC, married, farmer, son of Henry JOHNSON of Chesterfield County, SC, and Louise PARR of Chesterfield County, SC, died March 24, 1923, of Chronic Nephritis, and was buried at Hopewell Cemetery.["Chesterfield County, South Carolina Death Certificates (Caucasian) 1926-1930", Page 38, by James C. Pigg, self-published 1996].

Louise PARR was the daughter of Abraham PARR.

Charlie
