My gg grandmother was Priscilla A. Wright and she married Robert Chamberlain Shumate in Dekalb CO, GA. Census records indicate that she was born in SC abt. 1832 and I do find her name and the age that she would have been in 1850, listed in the 1850 Chester CO, SC census. Priscilla is listed in the HH of widowed mother, Elizabeth Wright. Others listed in this HH are Arlemitia T., and James H. Wright. There is a Sara E. Jones and children listed with them as well. One might assume that this could be another daughter and her children. In the 1860 census I found Sara E. Jones and her family listed in the 4th Ward, Fulton CO, GA. Priscilla A. Wright-Shumate and her family are listed in the 3rd Ward of Fulton CO, GA and in the 1870 census they are also listed in the 4th Ward of Fulton CO, GA. I feel that this is Priscilla's relatives, but can find nothing further. Priscilla died sometime after 1870 and is buried in the Oakland Cemetery in Atlanta, Fulton CO, GA. If anyone has any information on anyone in this family, it will be greatly appreciated.

Frances Long Greene
