I am looking for any info on George Washington Thomas b. abt. 1814 in SC. He appears in the 1840 Chester Co. census. He migrated to Tippah Co. MS sometime between 1844 & 1847. His wife's name is listed as Litha in the 1850 Tippah Co. Census. I believe his father to be a William Thomas that is listed in the 1830 Chester Co. Census.
I also believe he had a brother named Pleasant R Thomas.
Litha's last name may have been lowery or lowry. The last time I find any info about him is in the 1866 Tippah Co. Census.

Lucinda A Thomas - 29 Oct 1843 SC
John Lowery Thomas - 26 Dec 1844 SC
Sarah Ann Thomas - 1847 MS
Mary Jane Thomas - 1848 MS
James Williams Thomas - 1852 MS (My G-Grandfather)
George W Thomas - 1854 MS
Joel R Thomas - 15 Jan 1859 MS (With Second Wife Elvira Morgan McCollum Thomas)
