I am uncertain if the two are related, but I am curious about African Americans listed in 1870 in Christ Church Parish.
My ggrandfather, WILLIAM LAWRENCE WEELDON(WILDEN/WHILDEN),
was born in 1829 SC.
If anyone has a clue or an idea how to get info, please
