Richard Lake & Family, St Andrews Parish, 1749-1758

Parents Richard & Mary Lake had 6 children christened in that church. Second son, William Charles, went to Liverpool, England and there married an American born girl, Ann Orange, in 1777. I need to know about the family, occupation and any other details, plus movement and emigration to Britain. Were they perhaps from Liverpool & staying temporarily in SC? Did the whole family, including father Richard go to UK? What sources can I use to find out more?
