Obituary, Tues., Sept. 18, 1951
MRS. LAMPLEY NETTLES
Columbia- MRS. LAMPLEY NETTLES, 73, died at Columbia Hospital Sunday.
She was born in Berkeley County, the d/o the late WILLIAM and SUSAN GARDNER HENDERSON. She was a member of the Washington St. Meth. church and the Spanish War Auxiliary.
Survivors include two daughters; MRS. CARL BEARDMORE of Wichita, Kan. and MRS. J.O. FREEMAN of Columbia; two sons, THOMAS ASHLEY and FRANK WOODROW NETTLES, both of Columbia; one brother, the REV. W.L. HENDERSON of Norway; seven grandchildren , 3 nieces and one nephew.
She was the wife of the late LAMPLEY D. NETTLES.
Funeral services will be held at Washington St. Meth. church with burial in Sumter Cemetery.
