CHIEFJEREMY & ELIZABETH CACIQUE

St. James Santee Parish records states (pg. 262) that "Indian Field" Plantation, inherited by Jonah Collins, son of James and Elizabeth, "was the home of the Indian, Chief Jeremy".
The woman identified as Elizabeth Cacique, the wife of Capt. John Collins, has been identified as the daughter of a Cherokee chief.
I could assume that Elizabeth was the daughter of Chief Jeremy and she inherited (what was later called) "Indian Field") when Chief Jeremy died, then it passed on to Jonah Collins.
I believe these people are my direct ancestors.
Can anyone confirm this relationship between Elizabeth Cacique and Chief Jeremy?
