Walkers and Turners of Barnwell and Aiken County, SC
Posted by: Angela Breeden (ID *****1860) Date: January 13, 2011 at 20:22:17

I am looking for family connections in the Barnwell , Aiken and Edgefield areas of SC. My great grandfather Charlie Walker was suppose to come here from Charleston, SC and married three Turner sisters. We think their father and mother were William B. Turner and Mary B. Turner, possibly a Woodward before marring William. Two of the three sisters were named Winnie and Elizabeth Ann ( Eliza ) Turner. Not sure of the first wife's name and with no 1890 census, cannot be sure when Winnie dies. I was told she is suppose to be buried under the Montmorenci First Baptist Church in Aiken County, SC. Please e-mail me at dbreeden2009@yahoo.com with any information. Angela
P.S. Also information on a Thomas R. Hazel and Jane Lott Hazel family (white) in Aiken County, SC coming from Saluda or Edgefield area. They are buried in Graniteville Cemetery off Hwy. 1 in Graniteville, SC. Thanks
