It is wonderful that you are helping people locate their ancestors who once lived in Barnwell, S. C. I have attempted for many years to obtain needed genealogical documents out of the Old Barnwell District of South Carolina and thanks to fires, American wars and the boundary changes within the Old Barnwell District, I have had very poor luck finding information about my family, The Rice Family of the Old Barnwell District, S. C. Thank you for offering your time and expertise. Do you have any deeds information regarding: John Rice, Aaron Rice, Sr., Aaron Rice, Jr. David Rice or Jessey Rice? I think that they all might be related. I am searching for the parents names of my great, great-grandmother, Clarissa "Clarkie" Rice Cotton-Smith-Davis who was born in the Old Barnwell District, S.C. in 1812, and her sister, Ann Ellen .... Morrell born in 1808. Thanks again for your kindness.
