Searching for John H.Hunt b.abt 1834 SC in Mississippi by 1850 farmer.Married Sarah Smith, daughter of Thompson W.Smith of Laurens Co.SC. John and Sarah had a daughter, Sallie Hunt b.1857 in Ms. Another child, John H.Hunt,jr in 1866 after his return from Civil War. He died before the 1870 census. Who are his ancestors? If you are connected to John H (HENRY) Hunt, please contact me.
There were a couple of SC Hunts in Monroe County MS 1850-1900, by the name of Thomas HUnt, Jane Hunt who married Landon J. Carter (brickmason), also a George Hunt from SC.
They may be related??????
