Could someone tell me if there were any newspapers in Pendleton about 1860-61 ? If so , are they on microfilm any place in Anderson County ?
Searching for any information on the Dennis and Ellen Sullivan [ O'Sullivan] family in Pendleton area in 1860. He may have worked on the railroad. Was a new line under construction in that area at that time ? They had a son, Timothy that died about this time....any records of death's during this time being published ?
Appreciate any information on Pendleton prior to War Between the States.
