Several individuals have written to suggest that the C.A.C. on the collar of the uniform worn by this William L. Garrison likely stands for Clemson Agricultural College which was a military school at the time. William's connection to my family has long since been forgotten; he was likely a college friend or beau of a now deceased member of my family.

I am still trying to locate some of his family. This photo would be a real treasure for any of his descendants if a duplicate hasn't survived within the family.

Again, please drop me a line if any of this sounds familiar.
