There are/have been several Horton families in the area of Belton, SC. Many of them have remained to have family ties in that area. Harriet Ann Horton was in my Class of 1945 at Furman. She married Mac Marshall from here in Greenwood and they later moved to Anderson where she died about a year ago. I talked with her granddaughter-to-be at that time but haven't had any other background since then. I talked to one of our roommates then and we have not been able to get together since then though we want to have a mini reunion perhaps in the summer.
