First, let me clarify the name of Stoney Point. It is in
Greenwood County, SC., just a short distance on HWY 246 at its junction with the Old Laurens Hwy. There is a fairly new Golf Course/Home Center called Stoney Point also. It is just a short distance beyond the crossroads (has a traffic
light where Hwys 72/221 cross). The one you inquired about is the original spot. It is a fascinating home with many secret doors, etc. The present owners may be related to the Cunninghams and I will catch them when I can. The man was well known for printing (books, etc) and has a large collection of old books, etc.
