Barbara Cox Harper (the only child of Barbary Cox to have Cox for a given name)IS the daughter of
William Harper and Barbary Cox Harper.

She was left off in the website naming the
children of William and Barbary. Barbara Cox Harper married Rhodam Trussell and had
son John Jasper "Squire" Trussell, my
gr grandfather. He was born 1849 died 1925.
He married Margaret Bagwell, the dau of Henderson Bagwell and wife Margaret Stone.

Barbara Cox Harper was much younger than her husband Rhodam Trussell, Rhodam's first wife died and he married Barbara in June of 1848.
after the death of Rhodam, Barbara and her sister Sarah "Sallie" Harper Gantt lived together. Sallie was married to John Gantt a doctor I believe, they are all buried at
Presbyterian Cemetery in Honea Path, SC
I inherited some OLD 1800's documents which has proof of these two being sisters.
Not that I need proof, because I also have old Bible records, census, etc. Barbara was very close to her brother John, and she named her son John Jasper "Squire" after him and the Jasper comes from John Jasper Shirley who owned the Shirley Hotel in honea Path, SC

A lot of the Harper's are buried there, at
the Presbyterian Cemetery in Honea Path,
including my gr grandfather, Squire Trussell's first cousin, Columbus "Lum" Harper.

I remember visiting with my father
William Everett Trussell (11896-1971) at
all his Harper relatives in Honea Path,
and going to the cemeteries.
I believe the older Barbara is buried in Shady Grove community, where some of her
children are buried.

I have photographs of all of them,
