Stewarts of Old Pendleton District: My gg grandfather was Samuel Stewart, b. Pendleton
District 1801; d. Tippah Co. MS 1875; married Rebecca S/ Elizabeth Patterson, d/o Wm. Basking Patterson. Samuel Stewart had brother James G. Stewart, b. 1807/09 d. 1854 Tippah Co. MS; had brother John Stewart whose 1st wife was Ann Partain who died age 60 in 1856 and is buried Generostee ARP cemetery, near Anderson. Desperately need help in sorting Stewarts of Old Pendleton District 1800. 'Had sisters who married Sherrard (Sherod) and Cunningham.

Descendant in 1965 included David Brown of near Generostee Church whose wife was Varina Campbell. David Brown's mother was Lavinia Stewart, w/o Wm. Wilburn Brown.
