I know about the guardianship of Serena. There were TWO Eli Moores -- one born 1780s (?) who lived in Rabun Co., GA (across the river) and David's Eli born 1811. I don't know the relationship between the older Eli and the Pendleton District/Anderson Co. Moores although I've been looking for years. From very old handwritten notes, I may have mixed up the citations for the Serena guardianship and the one for Anthony's children. It may have been in Pickens. I will see if I can track it down.

The 1830 Census on is messed up; all my known Moores in Anderson are listed in "Lancaster, SC" so that is not much help. By the 1840 Census, Eli Moore of Anderson, SC has a household of 7 plus one male servant. He is living very close to brother Willis.
