William Miles NEVITT, Jr (1784-1868)-Moved to Anderson Dist c1830 with wife Elizabeth
HUTCHISON Nevitt and family from Fairfield Dist.

John Baylis CLARKE (1791-c1856) --Do not know his ancestry. May have had sister or
mother named Jane. He is in Anderson Dist by 1830, probably before. Was a carpenter and served on Anderson Town Council from 1845 to 1856. Married Jennie SAMMONS of probably
Greenville Dist. Son, John Baylis Clarke, Jr.(1824-1888) was a tailor and the grandmaster of the Anderson Masonic Lodge. Daughter, Elizabeth Clarke(c1820-1857)married Jesse R. SMITH also a tailor. Marshall CLARKE,born 1836 was probably a cousin.

David CROSBY (1827-1899)--Moved to Anderson Dist from Chester/Fairfield Dist. Married
Emiline HUTCHISON NEVITT, daughter of William Nevitt.
