I don't know exactly where the Eastern Division is located, but I have found my ancestors in Belton, Honea Path, and the Eastern Division in different years; so sounds like it may be in that area.
Researching: SMITH ie, Richard b 1787 VA, Anderson b 1834 GA, AW b 1821 SC. Hope this helps.
