I am researching my ancestors.
I have a newspaper article about Green A Pilgrim who was born in SC and died in 1899 in Atlanta Ga at the age of 95.
I have traced my greatgrandmother Lula Irene Pilgrim Hays to John W.(b.abt 1851) and Narcissa Teat Pilgrim in the Anderson SC. area. I think that Green was the uncle of John W.
My greatgrand parents William Franklin Hayes and Lucinda Hayes came to Cass County Tx in 1900-1901 from Anderson SC.
I have traced William Franklin to Jacob and Nancy Hays in GA. I cannot find the parents of Lucinda who was born in 1839 in SC. Lucinda's maiden name was also Hays/Hayes. There is a possiblity that there is a Baxter in her family since I have found a photo of the grave site of a Rev. Baxter Hays in my mother's things.
I would appreciate any help on my research of these people.
