Does anyone have Collins family relations? I have a gr gr gr grandfather William H. Collins that was b. 1824 TN, the TN could be a mistake. He was an orphan in 1840 and chose George W. Collins as his guardian in Marshall Co., TN. He later married twice, unknown and lived in KY, they had a son George W. Collins b. 1852, then he married my gr gr gr grandmother Sarah Elizabeth Finley/Finly in 1958-9, they migrated to Lake Co. TN in the Tiptonville area according to census record by 1870, then she and the kids migrated to Dunklin Co., MO by 1880. WIlliam didn't go, not sure if he died or left the family. I believe his biological dad may have been a William Collins living in Abbeville Co., SC on 1830, 1820 census records, but have no proof. Any information would be greatly appreciated. There may have been some mixing with Cherokee, they had high cheekbones.
