In 2003, iUniverse, Inc. published my Sayre research in five volumes (print-on-demand). John Sayre (#550) who was born 1765 in NJ is in Volume III.
The third volume continues from Vol II with descendants of (#549) David and Sarah (Little) Sayre, pioneers of Jackson County, West Virginia. The two families of William Henry Sayre and Hiram Sayre completes the line of (#1331) Ezekiel Sayre. The families of (#1332) Abel Sayre, (#1333) Rachel (Sayre) Harpold, (#1334) Sarah (Sayre) Boice, and (#1335) Hannah (Sayre) McDade completes (#549) David Sayre’s branch.
Then completing this volume are the lines of (#550) John and Susannah (Farrell) Sayre, (#551) Rachel (Sayre) and Jeremiah McDaniel, and (#552) Ephraim and Lydia (Fawcett) Sayre. Additional notes are given on the allied families of Parsons, Chase, Hill, Shinn, Anderson, Stone, See, Harpold, Pullins, and Ihle.
