Seeking info on David Sayers: was in 1790 census in Franklin Co., NC(listed as David Seyars). In December, 1790 he was bondsman for the marriage of Richard Swanson to Elizabeth Thornton, widow of John Thornton (who died in 1787 in Franklin Co.).
David Sayers also had ties to Greene Co., GA and to Wilkes Co., GA, as did adult children of John Thornton.
What was the relationship of David Sayers to either John Thornton, Elizabeth Thornton, or Richard Swanson?

Thanks.
