I am looking for her parents and siblings. Supposedly named because she was born in a wagon train to California. Also family history that she was indian as dau Bessie was supposedly 1/2 Indian, perhaps Blackfoot? Did the family give up the trip to California or leave her there? Callie was born in Sep 1880 MO according to info I found on her and her parents in the following census; and she died in 1954 perhaps in Oklahoma or Kansas. Thanks for reading, CW Carlile Callie married Ralph Hinson [b/1869 IL]in abt 1898, possibly MO since they are listed in the MO 1900 census. 1900 > MISSOURI > JASPER > GALENA TWP HINSON RALPH 31 M W IL MO JASPER GALENA TWP 1900 Aug 1869 m/2 IL IL NC Zinc Miner Callie wife Sep 1880 19 m/2 1/1 MO VA VA Carl son Apr 1889 1 MO IL MO error: s/b abt1898] John father Feb 1830 70 m/46 IL VA Maryland Farmer Sarah mother Feb 1834 66 m/46 7/5 NC NC NC In 1910 she is in OK having lost 2 children and adding three more; and her father and mother are listed w/different pobs.
