3 June 1880, District 2, Chickasaw County, MS

Foster, Cinth, female, 50, farmer, SC, SC, SC; James, 21, son, MS, SC, SC; E. Howard, daughter, 18, single, MS, SC, SC; Tie, male, 6 months, grandson.
(This is the Lucinda Foster you have tracked. She was the wife of Jeremiah Foster.)

Here is the entry for Eltira Saxon (Sr)

5 June, 1880, Beat 2, Houlka

Tira Saxon, 25, MS, GA, AL
Mary, wife, 18, AL, SC, SC
Bella, female, Mar 1880, daughter

Eltira Franklin Saxon was born 1879 in Chickasaw County and died 1954 in Hulbert, OK. He seems to have been the illegitimate child of Eltira Saxon and a granddaughter of Jeremiah and Lucinda Foster. (This granddaughter was probably a Howard, since Lucinda raised some of her Howard grandchildren after the death of their parents.) He is the "Ti" who was in the H/H with Lucinda Foster in 1880. He was not the son of her granddaughter, Elmira Howard, who was also in that house. I believe that Ti's mother had died, possibly in childbirth, since we cannot find her anywhere.

20 June 1900, Beat 3, Pontotoc County

Baswell Petit, 20
Salina, 21
Robert 2
Charles 7/12
Tyre Saxon, 21, servant

Salina was the daughter of Ella Saxon (possible twin to Eltira) and Anderson Stewart. Salina's husband's name was Braswell Petit.

I don't know if you are able to follow the above. I am actually not related to any of this family, but have a peripheral interest because my gr grandfather married (2) Elmira Howard, who was in the 1880 census in the house with her grandmother, Lucinda Foster.
