I have found a marriage date of 31 Dec 1885 for a Mrs. Rena Webb to Thomas L. McCasland in Claiborne Parish, LA.
I'm now trying to determine if Mrs. Rena Webb was Surena/Irena C. Sawyer and married to Henry M. Webb, b. ca 1841 Bibb Co., AL, prior to her marriage to Thomas L. McCasland.
Surena/Irena C. Sawyer m. Henry M. Webb on 13 Oct 1861 in Union Co., AR; however, the license stated that they were both residents of Union Parish, LA, which is just over the line from AR. Union Parish is also next door to Claiborne Parish.
I'm a WEBB researcher, so I have no direct SAWYER info to share. I just love a good mystery. Any information would be greatly appreciated.
