My great uncle was John Savory, flour miller, of Burnham Overy, West Norfolk. His grave and that of his father, also John Savory and also a miller, is in the church of Burnham Overy Town. My father's sister Hilda lived in Fresno, Cal. and her daughter Peggy Dewing was in touch with our family when I was young. I have quite a lot of information about the Savorys. My father Guy (son of John Savory's brother Edmund) was apprenticed to his uncle John at the mill and became a flour miller.
