There seems to have been many Savoie in that region in the 1800s. Meaning Joliette, Louiseville, Berthierville, St-Edouard de Maskinongé even in Shawinigan. For myself, part of my grand father family was buried in Louiseville so were 3 more generations before him.

Registre des sépultures de la paroisse de St-Joseph de Maskinongé 1721 à 1993 tome 4.
