First off I am wondering what Savoie means or where it comes from.

The second thing Im seeking is more history about Marie N. Savoie. She married Hermenegilde Arthur Bedard 11/6/1893 in Providence, RI. They had 8 known children, Marie O., Adela, Arthur, Claudia, Rose Alma(my great grandma), Emilie, Mavina A., Omer.
