John, I certainly appreciate your information. I have used the site of Art Savacool numerous times, as well as those of the people he cited appreciation for at that site. It has been a great source of information but I have gone down many more of the legs than is shown on those sites. I believe that you are going through the wrong child to get to Wilhelm and Christina. William had a younger brother, Henry Sr., born in 1759 or 60 in Sussex County, NJ and married a Christina and later Elcey. Henry and Christina had several children, including a 'John' born in 1783 in Sussex Cty, NJ. He married Anna Groover and they had several children, including an Abraham and an Andrew, born 7/16/1819 born in NJ.
The 1850 Bradford County, PA census includes an Abraham and an Andrew whose stated ages match those of the two sons of John and Anna. The census also states that each was born in NJ. Andrew and his wife Lydia had two sons, one Lewis and the second John, born in 1847, identified in that census. East Canton, PA is in Bradford, PA. so all of the facts fit. I have not traced this leg past this point but I now should be able to do with your information.
Let me know what you think of this information. I hope the dates for Andrew are the same as what you may have found in that cemeterey. I also would very much like to know who all was buried in that cemeterey. I will document my records accordingly.
Thank you so much.
