There is information on Aaron Savell that was put forth by Bertie Alice Apperson Smith that sais that Aaron was a member of Fair River Baptist Church. He is mentioned in the church minutes in 1818 and 1824.The Fair River Baptist Church was located in Lawrence County, Mississippi. She goes on to say that no other Savells are listed in these church minutes.I have not had the chance to look at these minutes and I do not know if any records exist documenting all church members.
To answer your questions about any other Savells being buried in the Palestine Cemetery:No one by that name is buried there.
My records show that William was born in 1815 and Willoughby on February 22, 1821.Do you have the birth date for John?I have seen reports that said John and Willoughby were buried in Black Jack Cemetery in Neshoba County. However, I was unable to locate their graves when I visited the cemetery.I have a picture of William's tombstone that I would be happy to share.
I agree that it would be nice to put up a memorial.I just wish there was some way to be sure that is where he is buried.
