Been doing some research around the internet regarding my wife's family, specifically trying to see if there is a family tartan for the Savages, or even a generic one for the Ards in county Down. Being that they technically came as Normans, I wasn't sure if they were entitled to one, or whether they would be considered a sub-clan of another.
