Today, July 31, 2008, I posted a message on the Strother forum to go on record that I seriously doubt that Dorothy, the widow (1702) of William Strother of Richmond County was the mother of his elder children, including William who married Margaret Thornton. It seems to me that we should consider that the elder William Strother had a wife (or wives) before Dorothy. Is there any primary evidence that Dorothy was a daughter of Anthony Savage?
