looking for grandfather and his family. supposidly his name is benjamin t savage. born in North Carolina 1870. wife martha finley, flemming kentucky; his children: claude stanley savage1898, elizabeth(bessie) turner savage1896.both born in kentucky,she married j.p. mcdpowell, edgecombe county NC,.alice savage and benj, jr. the last 2 born in montana. i can find nothing about him before 1900 in harlem Montana. he doesnt seem to exist either in north carolina or kentucky. in the census he says he and his parents were born in North Carolina.
can anyone help me with this family? i cant find birth certificates for claude or Bessie both born in Kentucky.i only find census of them after 1900. this family seens not to exist before 1900.
