I have traced this family to Texas. According to family records made by her daughter, my great-grandmother George Annie Webb Morrow came to Texas between 1880-1885 to visit her Aunt Martha (Webb)Savage, who lived in Abilene, Taylor County, TX. I found them (TD & Martha Savage, son Hampton J, & daughter Harriet, who married JR Fletcher) on the 1870 census in Johnson County, TX. Some of the family moved to Taylor County. I have not been able to locate a burial site for Thomas Dudley or Martha C. Savage, but I suspect they are buried in Johnson or Taylor County, TX.
Another intersting connection: a niece of Thomas D. Savage named Susan Margaret Savage married Francis Marion Caine, who was an uncle of the man George Annie Webb married in Texas. His name was Sampson A. Morrow. He had another uncle from the Fayette/Walker Co AL area who also moved to Johnson County and lived in the Grandview area where the Savage family lived.
Below is all I have been able to find on the family of TD & Martha C. Savage. The data came mostly from census records, Texas Death Index, SSDI, cemetery records, WWI Draft Registrations & Texas marriage records.
