I'm just guessing here. Does the second name sound like the first? It may be that the person recording the names spelled it as they were told and then phonetically wrote it out.
May also be a relative. Can you scan it and diplay it here.If not can you scan it and send it to larrysoveyfamilyhistory@hotmail.com.
