In the Sauvefamilyhistory@geocities.com there's a listing for Alexis Sauve(Sova) & Catherine Lafortune.His parents were Alexis & Marie Magdeline Fournier.The dates and locations are close. There was a Jean B.Sauve in the 1871 Ontario census age 45,in Rochester,Essex Cty,
Also Pierre Tellier age 45 in Tiny Twp,Simcoe Cty.Ontario.They are fairly close together. There could be a connection.
Depending where they where in Michigan they were, they could have one of five or six name variations.Sova,Soffa,Sophy,Sovey are just some that come to mind right now.
