I know that Adolph, Julien, Joseph and Francois Sauve were in Crookston in about 1883. I think some of them were the sons of Julien Sauve and Marie Louise Lequee. I have a data base of about 2000 Sauves and somewhere in there I have one who moved to Crookston, Minn. Right now I just can't seem to find it. Do you have the wives of any of the four I named above. Maybe I can locate it that way. I do have the record of Joseph Sauve married to Rose Delima Bergevin who died in Crookston, Minnesota. He was the son of Julien Sauve married to Josephte Poirier. Julien Sauve was the son of Guillaumw Sauve married to Josephte poirier. Guyillaume was the son of Charles Marie Sauve and Marie Angelique Lalonde who were married at Ste. Jeanne de Chantal I'le Perrot FEbruary 20, 1808. If this is your family, let me know.
