My grgrandmother was Scholastique LaPlante dit Sauve. Her parents were Francois-Xaviar LaPlante dit Sauve and Esther Chartrand. She married Joseph Damas Perillard Dit Bourguignon in Quebec about. 1862/63. They came to the Bay City/Auburn, MI area where my grandfather Charles Joseph Periord (note the name change) was born 2/17/1883. I just received a message stating that Francois-Xaviar died in Bay City, MI in a mill explosion from Jeanne White. Would be glad to share any info I have with you.
