Do your Saums have an Irish connection? My paternal grandmother was Ida May Saum & she married George Marshall and they were from Ireland. Their son Kenneth James Marshall was my birth father. Ida died March 29, 1923, I think after the birth of her twins. There was also another brother, Everett Marshall. The children were split up after Ida died. I believe Kenneth & Everett stayed with their father. George died in Feb. 1933. Kenneth died in Feb. 1964 in San Francisco. I don't know where the others died. Ida's parents were Mary (Talbot) & R.F. Saum. Kenneth also had another daughter, Barbara from his first marriage. Can you help my needle in the haystack?
