Hello Cindy! I began one month ago to research the Saulters family. I am a GGGranddaughter of William Horton Saulters (1857-7 Jan 1929) a brother to Simon Saulters (13 May 1860-11 Dec 1906). I have his family names and the family of Harvey Grant Saulters (20 Jan 1863-9 Mar 1939)who was first married to Mary, they had 8 children (all born in Athens, Ohio), after they broke up, he married Minnie and lived in Steubenville, Ohio. I have been searching for their parents and was logged into genforum yesterday for the first time and feel I found a goldmine and cousins! I would like to share info, my cell phone is 520-955-3104, call me with your email address and I will email you. The cell is a message phone for my Peterson Counseling business. I am Billie Peterson. Oh, regarding the "l" in Saulters, both Harvey's and William Horton's families have retained the "l" in their name--although I am aware that Wm Horton is noted in several places with Sauters as well as with Saulters.

Your grandfather Otto Vaughan and his parents and siblings lived next door to Wm Horton's family, and my father's father is one of Wm Horton's sons who grew up next to Emmett. I have family letters with Emmett's children named.
Hope to hear from you soon.
