Altman of 706 Yes! My granddaddy’s great grandmother was full-blooded Cherokee. I have a photo of her and her daughters. She was married to an officer/soldier in the Confederate army and traveled over the mountains at night in a buckboard wagon to be with him in Chattanooga after he was wounded at the Battle of Chickamauga - where he died.
