I just tried to send you this note via E-mail but your address must have changed over the past year. Here it is as I wrote it. I'm copying and pasting it.

I came across some of your postings on GenForum from a year ago and had to write because your line of Sauls is definitely the same as my husband's. I probably don't have any more information than you do except for the James Sauls (William's brother) line. My two sister's-in-law still live in Cobb County. I would love to exchange information about our family. I have your William listed as "Bill" born 1844 to Henry and Winnie Sauls. I have their birth dates 1814 and 1817, respectively. Henry and Winnie had five sons: John Henry, b. 1842; Bill, b. 1844; James Thomas, b. 1847; Pinkney, b. 1849; and George (no birth date). James did have a peg leg. My husband remembers his principal at Robert L. Osborne School, Cobb Co., Georgia, calling him in the office (this was probably in the 1950s) and showing him a picture of his great grandfather with the peg leg that he had found in a book. I asked my husband "What book?", but he was too young to remember or even care.

I would like to hear from you.
