Hello,
I am in Australia and I would like to contact anyone anywhere who is tracing the family of Joseph Saul and Sarah Macdonald married 10 December 1749, Workington, Cumberland, England and resided at Skelsmoor in Lamplugh, Cumberland, England. Joseph descends from a family from Civil in Holme Cultram, Cumberland, England and his parents were Joseph and Mary (nee Wilson).
A descendant of this family, Jeremiah, who's parents where John and Mary (nee Parkin), John being the grandson of Joseph, came out to Australia I believe and there are many descendants here in Australia.
My connection in all this is Jackson Fleming married Sarah Saul 3 November 1776 in Dean, Cumberland, England, who's parents where the Joseph Saul and Sarah MacDonald mentioned above.
I have lots of info to share on the families and descendants of the Flemings and Sauls.
