Hello Shannon

From what I can find out, Emily born in Tennessee, lived in
Wallaceburg, Arkansas. She is on the Hempstead County census 1840, 1850. I believe she is my gggrandmother. Her son Samuel Thomas married Josie tate. He was my ggrandfather. One of his son's name was James Thomas. The only thing that my grandfather would say was that his grandmother was a full blooded Cherokee Indian [?Emily]. He would otherwise talk about the family. My aunt has a picture of her on a horse. I am hoping to get a copy of it.

It is said that Emily lived a few houses from her mother-in-law in Wallaceburg. Her name was Elizabeth. She had a stage coach line and was reported to have good food.

If you find out anything else let me know.
Thanks
