I have been doing family research on the Sauers side of my family for years. I have run into a road-block at my gggg-grandfather, John Sauer. He was married to Elizabeth (Spitler?)She was b.5/19/1793 d.6/1/1874. He died in 1837, and is buried in New Berlin cemetery with soldiers. His wife and several children are buried at Erdley's Church Cemetery, across penn's creek in Snyder county. If anyone has a connection to this lineage or has information (dates and names)I would greatly appreciate it.
