Finally back to you. Philip Sauers (Sowers) from the Palatine area Germany near Windleberg, came to America 1749. He was of nobility, with family coatof arms and crest. He migrated from Germany to Philadelphia to North Carolina. He married Christina Leonard and had 14 children, one of which was Anna Maria. Your date of birth is later than the one I show which is 1781 and probably not as accurate as yours.

Philip Sauer was a given a 10,000 acre land grant in North Carolina by the King of England. Daniel Boone squire was a sharecropper on the land.

There are two books loaded with genealogy on the Sauer family in North Carolina to be found at the Rowan County Libray in Salisbury North Carolina. One is the Philipus Sauer Family History His Fpirteem Children and Their Descendants Compiled by Ruth Sowers Owen.

My line is a direct descent from Philip Sauer and his son Valentine born December 10, 1768 a brother of Anna Maria.
